Hurricane Katrina Green Card Lottery Registration Fundraising Drive Much of the Gulf Coast from Louisiana to Alabama is obliterated in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, and floodwaters continue to rise in the overwhelmed city of New Orleans. Millions of people are suffering from the devastation and desperately need water, food, shelter and medical care today, as well as help coping with what promises to be a massive long-term recovery effort. To help meet this enormous need, our office is going to donate all money received from lottery registrations received from the month of September until October 31, 2005 to the American Red Cross. read more |
